- Understand that teachers may need to physically help your child with body placement/position. This is always done in a caring and professional manner. If a student is not comfortable with physical contact from an instructor, they should make it known to the teacher or VIP Staff.
- Respect the professional judgement of the VIP faculty regarding your child's placement in one age group or another. Every child develops differently both physically and cognitively.
- Bring any problems or potential issues to VIP's attention in a timely fashion via admin@vaganovainternationalprogram.com or VIP's staff/teachers.
- Be sure your child is aware of all VIP policies and the behavior that is expected of them.
- Help ensure that your child follows the correct dress code and participates in scheduled events.
Student Responsibility
It is the student's responsibility to confirm their level and studio location. Students must check the VIP website and Social Media regularly for any possible updates!

Ballet Private Lessons
Teacher Selection
You must select at least two teachers for each request, indicating a first and second choice. While we will make every effort to accommodate your preferences, the availability of specific teachers is not guaranteed. All privates can be scheduled between 5p and 9p only.
Day Selection
You will have the opportunity to choose up to 3 private lessons. If we have too many requests, we cannot guarantee that all 3 privates will be scheduled. If you prefer to have more than 3, please email us at least one week before June 22, and we will check on time availability.
Lesson Structure
To accommodate more students, lessons will be structured in one-hour sessions for groups of three students per each 1 hour session (all 3 students start together at the top of the hour and take turns). We will do our best to assign each group to one of your preferred teachers.
Alexei, Natalia
$100 per dancer per lesson/session, payable directly to the teacher in cash. Place payment in an envelope marked with the dancer's name.
Requirements: Dancers must arrive warmed up, prepared with a solo, and provide their own music on a personal device.
Registration for Privates: Link to register will be posted on our website a couple weeks before the program starts. Please note that due to limited time and faculty availability, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be processed.
Private Lessons After Hours Procedures
Students with scheduled private lessons must plan their dinner and break times carefully around their lesson schedule. Students may either be picked up by a parent/guardian during their dinner break, or remain on campus in the studios until their lesson is over. Parents will need to provide additional snacks or a packed dinner meal for their dancer on private lesson days.
Please remember to allow enough time for students to return to their assigned studio 15 minutes before their scheduled lesson time.
